I Am FLYtism is a labor of love that derived from a mother; Stephanie Coleman, who wanted to create safe spaces for whom we've loving nicknamed our "Super Babies." Her son, Sir Noah was diagnosed at the tender age of three with Severe Non-Verbal Autism. She was completely unaware of what that looked like for her son's future. When searching for answers, she soon realized that the resources weren't as readily available in the inner cities of Chicago as they are in more prominent areas. She was determined to change that. She set out to create a platform for families to come together, get informed about ASD & to normalize the term "special needs." We believe that if we continually bring together both worlds, children will be less quick to turn a blind eye to our "Super Babies" because they don't understand how to communicate or play with them. We are driven by the fact that all children deserve to be viewed not by their disability...but by their ABILITIES!
